Synchronous instruction is a bad deal. It doesn't matter who the provider is. I will never understand why people want it so badly. I guess they're conditioned to think that way because of how K12 schooling is run. The reality is, you're paying, in this case, $22k for a 12-week

Well async and self paced instruction has the problem of completion rates. Springboard's numbers are in their government reports for CA and are like single digits on time completion in some cases.
