I actually don't think the election will affect the tech field/marketplace much in terms of the outcome. If Dems win then they continue the government spending that's been a constant growth area for tech over the last four years and tech folks feel the good vibes leading to more

The biggest impact I expect is in immigration policy, which has major impacts on tech.
