Made several million dollars over my tech career just in w2 wages and never set foot in a FAANG company. I wish people would stop making beginners think it’s a measure of success.

I'm using FAANG to mean "top tier leading technology companies" as opposed to like a companies in other industries that hire engineers.
Does that change anything?
I agree FAANG is not the measure of success, and not is money made.
