Yeah, apprenticeships, internships, and and every company has completely different leveling systems. I use [https://www.levels.fyi/](https://www.levels.fyi/) to compare the levels at different companies (don't get distracted by the salaries but just compare the granularity of levels) You can see how Microsoft has more granular lower levels versus something like LinkedIn or Netflix.
