It's a person who is trying to get referrals. As a mod we say a lot of these posts for Triple Ten and posting about referral links and discounts isn't allowed. We saw a lot of these posts where current students of programs like Triple Ten post very similar generic positive posts with similar tones and structure, and then they offer referrals (some very explicitly and some indirectly). Without my moderator hat on, I want to know why there were dozens of people trying to post DURING The program how great it was with their referral codes and no one posting AFTER the program talking about how they got a job.

Yep. So, if no one is going to remove them - I like to try and instill a sense for the thinking process. It’s not “great” and no one will be able to really prove otherwise if we ask.

I mean everyone sells the "world's best hamburger" lol, no problem with people saying whatever they want as an opinion statement.

I still find in really sketchy that Course Report has so many "best bootcamp" awards. Like dozens of bootcamps are the "best bootcamp" one of them didn't even have a review on their site in 2024, but it's the "best bootcamp". Sigh, this industry.
