I would tell them about your situation, highlight any areas they didn't meet.your expectations (if any) and ask if they can stretch the payments over a longer period of time, or if they can lower the amount due (which is less likely, because you signed the contract, but let's say you were absent one day, there.was a holiday, or their teacher didn't show up one days you can try to ask for some of those days to be removed )
If they absolutely won't budge, which is within their right, but also not friendly, then look at loan options, like normal off the shelf loans.
In the absolute worst case, see if you can pay with a credit card and push them off farther or partially pay down the credit card balance.
