👋 Hi friends (specifically bootcamp grads), we just launched TIRA by Formation on Product Hunt and I wanted to share it here as a useful free tool and also to get your feedback. It's a dynamic 45 min benchmark to see how interview ready your DS&A skills that you hopefully find useful! Hi all, I'm sure many of you know me already but I'm a long time group member who comments daily here and I've me a ton of what I would call friends along the way! I'm the co-founder of Formation.dev and I've done hundreds of DS&A interviews at Meta and a number of people on my team have as well. So we put our minds together and to come up with a solid tool to see how interview ready your DS&A skills are! I would LOVE to discuss your experience in the comments here, and suggestions to improve the tool. The benchmark takes 45 mins and is free, and it will tell you what areas you are strong and weak at, as well as give you an overall readiness score. Thanks for the feedback, that's an excellent point about choosing the langauge

Hello! Once you take the 45 minutes benchmark, can you retake it for free as well?

Hmm, if you apply to join Formation (which is free to apply but requires more information), you can definitely retake it but I don't believe you can right now via the public flow.

I put in my info and it automatically just gave me a zero and said "No Signal" for every category!

There's a bug we're looking into today! I'll comment when it's fixed.

u/watermeeloon Can you try viewing the results page again? We can only give a signal if you complete more than 1 question on a given topic, but there was an issue with aggregating those scores that is resolved now.

Hi Michael! I’m pretty sure we’re communicating via email right now as well. I’m not by my computer and won’t be for another hour and a half or so, but I’ll try on my phone.

Oh sorry! Your issue was different from the other issue so hold on. The other issue was reported by someone else.

Btw trying to log in on a phone exposes another bug: the login page adjusts as if you’re on a computer

We don't support mobile clients for benchmarking and that one's a known issue we have - we have a lot to improve for our mobile technical content experience as it's all been designed for larger format devices
