I’m new to coding and I’m gonna be getting out the military soon. I wanna make a career out of this. I’m not sure where I should be starting or what my focus should be so any help with that would be appreciated.

If you are in the USA look at veteran opportunities in tech-adjacent roles. Like cyber analyst, or data-related roles. All of these roles involve programming now but have slightly more lower barrier to entry and more veteran opportunities.
