The average JS employee will make a LOT more than the average FAANG employee, and getting the same comp at FAANG is a lot harder since you have to stand out and be rewarded by the team/manager, so luck + skill

I agree with this. The average person is probably making more cash.
The closest comparable in tech is Epic Games, but they are not paying that much haha.
