Maybe. The biggest risk is the person getting a job and abandoning you part way through the course.
People who just went through a program and really understand the student experience might actually be better teachers than someone with 10 years of experience who is a bad teacher.
That sad there are also amazing teachers who also have 10 years of experience.
So TLDR: not a deal breaker but really case by case.
